The Northwest Coast Trails Coalition is a organization that formed to make trails and outdoor recreation in the area more accessible to the community. They wanted a mark that represented their mission, values and landscape.
The logo I created fits the coalition name into an emblem representing the region's landscape. The ligature between the S in Coast and the T in Trails creates a trail that runs through the landscape.
A website that showcases photography of the region with organized and clear navigation makes it easy to find outdoor opportunities and get involved with volunteering with the coalition. Sales of branded merchandise and maps provide funding to the coalition, as well as giving visitors an opportunity to spread awareness of the network of trails.
